Halo: Reach Won't Use Project Natal Controls

Yo!,

Microsoft's biggest gaming title of 2010 won't be taking advantage of its new motion camera this coming fall. Bungie Studio denied rumors through its weekly update saying Halo: Reach is being developed with traditional controls and will not incorporate Project Natal. "Halo: Reach is NOT a Natal title and is being developed expressly with the traditional Xbox 360 controller in mind," Bungie said.

This kind of sucks because I wanted to actually have a motion controlled Halo game. Kind of like, if you have ever seen the movie "Gamer" (2009), taking control of a Spartan with Natal's motion censors would awesome.

Well I'm trying to think of the words I should use to describe this master piece. Well here I'll give it a try.

AVATAR is an enormously entertaining piece of screen spectacle that goes a long way toward redeeming the somewhat debased concept of a Hollywood blockbuster: It is epic in scale and lavish in production, filled with qualities that can only be purchased with a shit load of money, and yet it never feels like a hollow money pit. It is loaded conventional commercial elements guaranteed to sell tickets worldwide, yet it does not feel ”targeted” in the sense of simply throwing in a sop here or there to a particular demographic, regardless of whether it improves the film as a whole. Its scenario is built around familiar and easily accessible storytelling tropes, yet the film never feels dumbed-down or calculated. And though there may be merchandising tie-ins (including a videogame), AVATAR feels like a self-contained entity with its own internal integrity, not a two-hour-plus commercial.

"Avatar" combines an adventure tale worthy of Edgar Rice Burroughs' deepest jungles with cool science-fiction technology and a meaningful story about forcing indigenous people from their lands.

If you read that as "Tarzan" meets "Aliens" meets "Dances With Wolves," that's the picture to have in your mind. Then let your mind go once you put on the 3-D glasses.

(but I did not watch the film in 3-D)

Well, Director James Cameron has once again reminded us why we go to the movies and why screens the size of the stories-tall IMAX are still necessary: They can be filled with wonders we've never seen before.

I give a 4.5, its that fucking good. So if you're going to go waste your money at the movies you best go see AVATAR its worth the money.

News: Great News!

I finally got my computer and will start filming pretty soon since I have a whole week off for Thanksgiving! Man this is so sweet! I finally get my computer! I've been waiting for a year and it finally comes. So yeah everything should now be on track. Also yes Pieces Left Behind will be arriving on scheduled time. News: Update

Hey,

I decided to shake off my stupid thoughts about making another series along with "Pieces Left Behind".

You may have noticed I haven't uploaded anything for awhile and if you had kept up with my blog entries well you know why for those that don't know well here it is. My computer was having problems so I asked my cousin (which is a computer wis), told me that I needed to get a new hard drive, turns out I didn't need that part and I needed a power supply, so its going to take awhile till I get my computer, so for the time being its all about ideas and thinking.

So I've decided to get working on my ideas just writing things down and gathering ideas.

I hope to one day I get into professional machinima, and personally elevate myself and be one hundred percent proud of my work. The reason I want to start machinima is that it's quick and accessible.

I have a lot of ideas, a little bit of talent, and very little patience, and those aren't things that go well together, especially when you're a one-man production team. For the time being I'm gonna stick with machinima because it's a relatively quick way to bring some of my story ideas to life, but no way does it hold a candle to professional live action film.

So that's wraps up this blog.

The Good, the Bad and the Plain just stupid

Hey,

I apologize for not updating my blog in a while, but I've been busy with things, and I'm just drowning in homework.

Also my computer still has not been fixed. It seems that the hard drive wasn't what was wrong with my computer it was the power supply so I have to get a new one of those, dam.

Well for my work news the new mini series WTF Just Happened to Me in Halo 3? will be canceled given how copyright has once again struck me in the back, but I'm not quite sure yet that I won't make another mini series.

So I was under the impression that I need to start making "Pieces Left Behind", I have the script ready and just need to start filming, but we've gone over this before so please just wait.

"New Stuff and Old Stuff"

I know I haven't updated in a while, but whatever, it's not like there's much to say. The Pieces Left Behind Trailer should be up sometime soon and I hope it will come out the way you guys picture it.

Oh, one other thing, I just made a Newgrounds page and not really one to make a fuss over view numbers, I don't care at the end of the day, but I wish people could take more time to look at it, and that also goes for my youtube page and my deviantART I know I haven't made many videos, but I'm getting there and you guys can help. So it would be nice if guys could glance through them at least look.

"Working on Troubles"

Well as you guys know I haven't made anything in awhile and well thats all because of my Hard Drive I ordered the part and now I have to wait till my cousin comes and install it. So yeah everything is good except for the hard drive, but I'm ready to start filming Pieces Left Behind and also getting ready for school since it starts the 24th and I'm going to be a Sophomore. So I have to start on my work as soon as possible. So that wraps it up oh and if none of you have noticed is that I got rid of my company Oble and just started using Blog spot well I did this because I didn't think I needed a company for my stuff so yeah we'll see what happens.
